  • 5 billion mobile users rely daily on the standards that underpin their communication. 5G involves numerous innovations spanning many technology areas. How are the standards evolving and how quickly are they turning into available technologies and services?

    - Cloud robotics (smaller, cheaper robots through centrally controlled cloud processing)
    - Identification and tracking of goods in the end-to-end value chain
    - Remote quality inspection/diagnostics with high-resolution/3D video or haptic feedback, thermal and other sensors
    - Asset tracking and enhanced inventory management
